ceccec503e Move yearday_to_daymonth() to usb_storage.c. It's the only user, this function is pretty specific, and it seems to be the cleanest way to avoid ram usage increases for unrelated targets

9a5174c8a3 Fix logf() multilines handling
Each line (of MAX_LOGF_ENTRY characters) would be marked with
LOGF_TERMINATE_CONTINUE_LINE, but still be padded with a '\0'

6469926b88 FS#10506. Don't compile various crossfade only functions in pcmbuf.c on low memory targets (mainly AMS) to save memory. Some crossfade related items remain in the code, but they're not worth cluttering the code with ifdefs over. Also, introduce HAVE_CROSSFADE define for neatness.

28fbb49c0b Fix for:
FS#10031 - "improper sorting of names with underscores when Interpret numbers when sorting is used" and
FS#10200 - "Incorrect sorting of roman numerals when whole numbers selected"

a) By using tolower instead of toupper for case-insensitive sorting
b) By not ignoring spaces (which isn't really what we aimed for anyway).

5c9fe52629 Commit part of FS#9873 - Utilise buttons for playlisting
It adds a shortcut (combo or button) to directly go from the wps to the playlist viewer. The combos could possibly be improved on some targets, but I tried to keep a tad bit of consistency (was hardly possible).
I also added a corresponding touchscreen region and adapted cabbiev2.

8839f18cc8 Move Archos battery runtime estimation defines into config files instead of powermgmt.h. Replace old default values (which were actually the Archos Player currents) with a new default (1mA). This should give nonsense runtime estimates (instead of semi-reasonable but completely wrong estimates) on all players that do not have a battery current defined. Hopefully this will remind people that they should define the battery current when they start a new port.

0181bc42c9 Sansa c200v2 : support more hardware
Don't read the buttons from GPIOC but from DBOP_DIN (all directional buttons + select)
Still missing hold, rec, volume up and volume down
Read microsd
Tuner is a si4700 but seems to suffer from the same problem than e200v2
Sound works

TODO: missing buttons, lcd yuv, test lcd performance (the c200v1 lcd performance has decreased since r21321 : needs to be investigated)

3520d8e90e Sansa c200v2 : lcd & backlight support, using the c200v1 lcd driver
The LCD driver is unified and lcd_send_command now takes 2 arguments : the command and its argument.
If there is no argument, it's set to 0 and a NOP command is issued
If there is more than one argument (set X/Y address), the 2nd argument is sent as a 2nd command, and a NOP command is issued after it.
Benefit : c200v2 transfers the command and the argument in one 16 bits transfer
Performance should not be affected since commands without argument are only used in lcd_init() and lcd_enable()

lcd_send_data() now transfers whole lines (or columns) instead of single pixels
yuv is disabled for c200v2 for now

Some buttons can be read, including left button (bit 6 of DBOP_DIN), but for some reason they have no effect in rockbox: to be investigated

adb978a44d Sansa AMS: Various fixes/enhancements for clock frequencies
Fix CGU_DBOP setting

Set PCLK to the exact frequency (62MHz, not the maximal frequency)

Use a better comment for CLK_DIV macro

Use preprocessor safety checks for clock divider sizes to avoid future mistakes (not for SD_IDENT frequency since that check is handled by mci_set_clock_divider)

Use maximal IDE frequency of 66MHz (like OF), not 90MHz like written in AS3525 datasheet. The IDE chip is somehow linked to internal storage, and a too high frequency could affect the storage driver.

Use the same DBOP frequency of 32MHz for all models (like OF, verified clip, fuze, e200v2 and m200v4), compromise between performance and battery life could be added in the future for each target
Performance increase on Sansa Fuze with DBOP freq. set to 64MHz: +12% fps for lcd_update, +1% fps for yuv

49fccaf2d9 FS#9730 by Torne Wuff - support installing Rockbox in the firmware partition in place of the main Apple firmware. This image is only loaded if no rockbox.ipod is found so does not affect current behaviour. The advantage is a small increase in boottime. This patch also adds documentation to bootloader/ipod.c in the form of a comment describing the booting behaviour.
