9f0bad0efe Byteswap routines don't really need 'asm volatile', just 'asm' since it should be safe to move them for optimizing. Clean up the line endings for ARM.

da3417706d Gigabeat S: Smoother bootup. Don't do full drive reset at boot since it's not really a coldstart. Seems to work alright in both the bootloader and firmware.

b15aa47c56 All kernel objects in code shared amongs targets (core, plugins, codecs) should be declared SHAREDBSS_ATTR as any core could potentially touch them even though they seem only to involve threads on one core. The exception is target code for particular CPUs where proper allocation is fixed. playlist.c was a little odd too-- use one mutex for the current playlist and a separate one for created playlists (still pondering the necessity of more than one).

a6223468eb Keep the clocks enabled once the LCD DMA transfer completes. It kills the PCM driver if they are disabled.

8f80adf4d7 Remove some initializations that are taken care of in the bootloader or crt0 setup. Agressive timings are #if 0'd since they are unstable, but may later be added to board setup.

18770dac2e Use __builtin_constant_p() to select the best byteswapping method: constant or target optimized. Same macro can then be used for constant values and inits as well as non-constant.

e9749d1b93 AMSv2 SD: Fix card insert lockups in USB mode. First, get rid of infinite loops and retry those a limited number of times-- no explaination for their dubious existence was offered in the source. Second, SD thread was no longer monitoring inserts (and it wouldn't really matter if it were). Thus, .initialized was reported as '1' despite the new card needing reinit.
