32f763c39a Add HiFiMAN HM-60x target(s). FS#12319 by Andrew Ryabinin with some (small) modification by me. This also splits rk27xx lcd driver into lcdif-rk27xx and lcd controller specific part. Some modifications to the pcm driver have been made to allow using codecs in slave mode (as TDA1543 used in hifiman is slave only i2s codec).

a2b6703a36 Commit FS#12150 - Fully-functional audio mixer - and finally whip old limitations about playback of voice and other sounds when paused. Channels are independent in state and amplitude. Fade on stop/pause is handled by the channel's volume control rather than global volume which means it now works from anywhere. Opens up the possibility of plugin sounds during music playback by merely adding an additional channel enum. If any PCM drivers were not properly modified, see one of the last comments in the task for a description of the simple change that is expected. Some params are tunable in firmware/export/pcm-mixer.h as well.

376c9f3ad0 FS#11966 - use separate modelnames and config files for RaaA. This adds an APPLICATION define that can be used in Makefiles, and target-name defines (-DSDLAPP, -DANDROID, -DNOKIAN8XX and -DNOKIAN900) for use elsewhere. LCD size is now hard-coded for the Nokia builds in their config files. A new --app parameter is passed to buildzip.pl to explicitly state that this is an application build - it was previously derived from the model name.

6d85de3419 Implement cooperative threads on hosted platforms using C code.
This replaces SDL threads with real cooperative threads, which are less cpu intensive and allow priority scheduling.
The backend for context switching is dependant on the host (sigaltstack/longjmp on Unix, Fibers on Windows).
configure has options to force or disallow SDL threads.

b673ae2c46 FS#11686 - Kinetic list scrolling for touchscreen
This adds kinetic scrolling to to lists on touchscreen targets and RaaA, like all other OSes on touchscreens have.
It's only enabled in the absolute point mode, so for non-touchscreen and in grid mode nothing changes.

Kinetic scrolling means that the list keeps scrolling (but is decelerating) after you leave the touchscreen with the finger.
Redraw interval and deceleration is hardcoded for now but could be made configurable if desired.

6eaab4d004 Ged rid of uisimulator/common/io.c for android builds.
Use host's functions for file i/o directly (open(), close() ,etc.), not the sim_* variants.
Some dir functions need to be wrapped still because we need to cache the parents dir's path (host's dirent doesn't let us know).
For the same reason (incompatibility) with host's dirent) detach some members from Rockbox' dirent struct and put it into an extra one,
the values can be retrieved via the new dir_get_info().

Get rid of the sim_ prefix for sleep as well and change the signature to unix sleep().

240923a801 Rockbox as an application: Commit current Android port progress.
General state is: Rockbox is usable (plays music, saves configuration, touchscreen works too).
Problems:
 - Playing music in the background (i.e. when switching to another app) doesn't work reliably, but I'm working on that now.
 - no cabbiev2 (only some preliminary files for it), no other default theme.
 - screen flickers sometimes if the updates are too frequent
 - no multi screen apk/package
 - strange behavior when a phone call comes in

The java files (and the eclipse project) resides in android/, which is also supposed to be the build folder.
I've put a small README in there for instructions. There are some steps needed after the make part, which are described there,
and which eclipse mostly handles. But there ought to be some script/makefile rules which do that instead in the future.

31b5c471ae Rockbox as an application: Add an 320x240 SDL application target.
It still works mostly like the simulator. There's also some minor left overs from the sim, but it does not define SIMULATOR.
It installs into the current (build) dir, and you need to run it with '--root .' (because it looks for ./.rockbox and not ./simdisk/rockbox) as options. That's one of the few kludges left that should be resolved soon'ish.

35e8b1429a Rockbox as an application: Replace many occurences of #ifdef SIMULATOR with #if (CONFIG_PLATFORM & PLATFORM_HOSTED) (or equivalently).
The simulator defines PLATFORM_HOSTED, as RaaA will do (RaaA will not define SIMULATOR).

Should be no functional change to targets or the simulator.

We can't pop into pc on ARMv4t when using thumb: the T bit won't be

376d8d577f Add IO priority handling. Currently all IO has equal priority, except the dircache scanning thread which is lower. This fixes the slow boot problem for me, with the added benefit that actual audio playback also starts faster.
Lots of the changes are due to changing storage_(read|write)sectors() from macros to wrapper functions. This means that they have to be called with IF_MD2(drive,) again.

f8edc32589 FS#10756 - Free unused init code
Introduce a new .init section for initialisation code, so that it can be copied to an area which is later overwritten before calling. The stack/bss can then overwrite that code, effectively freeing the code size that the initialisation routines need. Gives a few kB ram usage back.
Only implemented for PP and as3525 so far. More targets could be added, as well as more functions.

c4e051bed7 Align addresses in the buffering code to STORAGE_ALIGN_MASK if the target has one.
The PP502x DMA controller can only deal with doing DMA to 16-byte-aligned
addresses because we have inadequate control over the cache to prevent
interference. Other targets may also *prefer* cacheline aligned DMAs to
reduce the number of cache operations required. Almost all disk reads in
buffering.c will now be suitably aligned, allowing DMA to be used on PP502x.

Original change from FS#9708 by Boris Gjenero (dreamlayers).
