5641995027 New card bitmaps for the m:robe100 (used in solitaire and blackjack). They graphics are now bigger, same size as on other 160x128 displays, and take the 'inverted' red on black of the m:robe100's display into account.

daa8341a13 a bit of code cleanup.. use a single function to get the statusbar height (or lack of if its enabled), and remove some gui_textarea stuff which could be done using the splash. (gui_textarea is on the way out)

f2042983f0 Add the Sansa M200 (v1) as a target - it's extremely similar to the Logik DAX (the LCD driver worked unchanged). Plus various tcc77x work, including a working tick interrupt (enabled in the bootloader). Rockbox itself builds for the M200 (there are no keymaps yet for the DAX), but doesn't progress very far due to the lack of an ATA (NAND flash) driver.

4cf4b5c2ae 128x42x1 Rockbox logo (a copy of the 128x41x1 remote version) for 128 pixel wide mono main LCDs - fixes the logo for the iFP (it was using the Archos version), plus preparation for new ports.

6d207956d3 found (and fixed) by Stephane Doyon... 
"A glitch was recently introduced when backing out of context menu functions. When exiting for example the playlist viewer, or the id3 viewer, it will speak the name of the menu entry used to access that function. That's pretty confusing because it sounds like you dropped back into the menu system while we have in fact exited the context menu completely."

7c0a8e1d4c structec makes a poor assumption that all targets use 1 byte chars, 2 byte shorts and 4 byte longs which is wrong on 64bit sims which causes database to not be commited. 
The proper fix should be to remove those assumtopns but probably not nescacery untill a target comes along which breaks the assumption.
This _shouldnt_ change anything on target.

8efd5d3fdf Flashlight plugin: support inverted LCD (somebody with a target please test), replace the ugly floats with a much simpler color set. For now white and red are defined.

fa64dbb525 So, I was skimming the irc logs from my 3 day absense and I was pinged about a bug in the simplelist code and this function in particular. Neither time was the actual bug explained so I dont know what this commit fixes... I'm fairly certain it does fix it though because the old code was rediculously wrong. MY guess is it has something to do with the radio debug screen seen as its the only call to this with the param != 0. 
Please use the damn tracker for bug reports.. pinging someone when they arnt even online (as opposed to idling in the channel) really is a waste of time.)

cea07eb2a4 Fix freezing of some builds on PP5002. The PP5002 needs the not-sleep-at 0xNNNNNNN0-addresses fix everywhere when caching is enabled, not only in core_sleep(). Introduced a pair of inline functions to sleep and wake cores on PP for consistency.

* Fix FS#8893 by plugging a file descriptor leak in audio_load_track.
* Fix a possible null pointer dereference by not allowing audio_current_track to return NULL.
* Make audio_current_track return prevtrack_id3 only during an automatic track skip. Fixes the wrong metadata being displayed for a short time after a backwards skip.

5b5a626bb6 Setup the touchpads to have two modes - stylus and button - and set them in button mode by default. 
in button mode the touchpad is split into a 3x3 grid for 9 seperate buttons which can be used by the action system like real buttons.
Unify the keymap file for the touchpads in button mode. the target keymap file only needs to worry about real buttons.
(As these ports mature each screen will need to be fixed seperatly to be able to use stylus mode (the lists can already but don't change mode just yet.)

4e2de44b44 A rather big change to how tracks are loaded: there are now two parts to the process and metadata loading is done by the buffering thread (except for the first unbuffered track). The audio thread now calls audio_load_track, and once the metadata is loaded, the buffering thread sends an event which will make the audio thread call audio_finish_load_track. This one then takes care of the rest of the loading. 
This method makes skipping noticeably faster for unbuffered tracks, and especially backwards.

3c9625969b FS#8882: Fix the bug where skipping backwards with Ogg files could result in a skip forward (FS#8508). The problem was introduced by a one-line change in r16025, so we revert it. At the time I thought that line had become useless but obviously I was wrong. Thanks to Greg Erwin for finding the fix.

e92c176d95 r17018 caused the WPS playlist index display to be wrong with shuffled enabled, so we revert to using playlist_get_display_index() on HWCODEC. Using id3->index would require something like what was added in r3726.

6aa36c66a3 Commit FS#8308 (Port of imlib2 based smooth scaling) by Jonas Hurrelmann. It could be made smaller by taking out some special cases, but I'm leaving them in for now because size isn't really a concern until we decide to move it into the core (if we ever do). test_resize now allows to choose between both resize methods for comparison. sliding_puzzle is made to use the smooth scaling.

05099149f1 Enable nocache sections using the linker. PP5022/4 must use SW_CORELOCK now with shared variables in DRAM (it seems swp(b) is at least partially broken on all PP or I'm doing something very wrong here :\). For core-shared data use SHAREDBSS/DATA_ATTR. NOCACHEBSS/DATA_ATTR is available whether or not single core is forced for static peripheral-DMA buffer allocation without use of the UNCACHED_ADDR macro in code and is likely useful on a non-PP target with a data cache (although not actually enabled in config.h and the .lds's in this commit).

32bd0f8ab1 Greyscale library: Optionally put the greyscale ISR on COP on portalplayertargets (only use with the grey_info structure in IRAM atm\!). This speeds up doom by ~50%, and makes mpegplayer work without stuttering audio on targets using it (measured on iPod 2nd Gen and Mini 2nd Gen). It needs corelocking certain functions in the LCD driver on 1st/2nd Gen.

fe9eb68ec0 Fix FS#8513 (Playback occasionally repeats a track when rebuffering occurs) and hopefully others by essentially reverting r16019, parts of r16425 and most bugfix followups. This means we're back to having a desynchronized playlist index in the WPS. audio_check_new_track() needs a serious rework before we can make improvements in that area without breaking things. 
playlist_checkend() isn't used anymore but I'm not removing it for now because it might prove useful later on.

5c87a98b97 Greyscale library: * Implement linearisation curve flipping for 1st/2nd Gen iPods (LCD is inverted when backlight is on, so the curve is also inverted). This needs a slight extension of is_backlight_on() functionality in the core. * Thorough recalibration of all reachable greyscale targets, and #ifdef cleanup. * Reduce on-target gamma a bit, because the displayable contrast range of a monochrome/greyscale isn't that high.

03b54c29d7 Fix for FS#8601 by pondlife: the disk no longer spins up on a track change when dircache is disabled. This issue was introduced by me in r16019 by adding a call to playlist_peek() in audio_check_new_track(). This fix adds a new playlist API call to work around the problem until we find a better solution. There are also a few simplifications and comment corrections.

5ca1539969 the menu and list now accepts a parent viewport to draw in (and the menu can be told to not show status/button bars). This lays the groundwork to fix colour problems with plugin menus (see star.c for an example.) This hopefully fixes some button bar issues as well as theme problems.

40919d7db2 iAudio M3: Optimised LCD driver, with more/better assembly code. Speedup is ~80% when boosted, ~15% when unboosted. Also implemented grey phase blitting. * Adapted the greyscale library, and the plugins using it. * Fixed a bug in greyscale scroll down for vertically packed pixels.

7418c357c3 Make checkwps compile again. Still more work is needed though, as checkwps is compiled to emulate an iPod Color - this needs changing to allow the LCD (and remote LCD) dimensions/depth to be specified on the commandline - the new %V tags are validated against the LCD characteristics

27cf677339 Add a complete priority inheritance implementation to the scheduler (all mutex ownership and queue_send calls are inheritable). Priorities are differential so that dispatch depends on the runnable range of priorities. Codec priority can therefore be raised in small steps (pcmbuf updated to enable). Simplify the kernel functions to ease implementation and use the same kernel.c for both sim and target (I'm tired of maintaining two ;_). 1) Not sure if a minor audio break at first buffering issue will exist on large-sector disks (the main mutex speed issue was genuinely resolved earlier). At this point it's best dealt with at the buffering level. It seems a larger filechunk could be used again. 2) Perhaps 64-bit sims will have some minor issues (finicky) but a backroll of the code of concern there is a 5-minute job. All kernel objects become incompatible so a full rebuild and update is needed.

15ddd7a7ec Add the ability to use bitmap strips (a single .bmp file containing many images of the same dimensions, tiled vertically - similar to icon strips) in the WPS. The %xl tag now has an optional "number of subimages" parameter, and the %xd tag has an optional "subimage to display" parameter (a-z,A-Z - allowing up to 52 sub-images). So for example, a bitmap with 10 subimages is loaded with %xl|M|volume.bmp|134|153|10| and then this can be used in a conditional as %?pv<%xdMa|%xdMb|%xdMc|%xdMd|%xdMe|%xdMf|%xdMg|%xdMh|%xdMi|%xdMj>.

45b2d8802d Reduce the shocking amount of RAM my viewports implementation was using. The first version stored an array of lines for each of the 16 possible viewports (MAX_VIEWPORTS * the number of lines on the LCD with a 5-pixel high font). This version reverts back to a single global array of lines, with each viewport specifying the first and last lines as indexes into that array. This also turns out to be simpler, reducing binsize a little as well.

e92d2c51ed Add a general-purpose parse_list function to parse a string containing a delimited list of items and adapt the parse_image_load() function in the WPS parser to use it. fd052ec753 Commit FS#8750. Add ARM assembler for the dsp-functions channels_process_sound_chan_mono(), channels_process_sound_chan_karaoke(), sample_output_mono() and sample_output_stereo(). By measurement the speed up is ~75% for the first three functions and ~40% for sample_output_stereo(). Additionally avoid calling yield() to often in dsp.c -- it is now limited to once per tick.

a67e5d89ef It makes more sense for the callback registrar to decide if its a "oneshot" then the callback caller. 
(Doing it this way means playback could(/should?) registar a disk spinup callback at init which is called every spinup without needing to be reregistered)

19c6e66c13 Implement the playback event handling as a system-wide multi-purpose event system. Unified mpeg.c and playback.c audio event handling. Converted ata_idle_notify to use the new event handling system also.

8a6291dd63 More iAudio M3 work. Target build compiles, but same problem regarding plugins as the simulator. Boots to the menu, but it can't be used yet because only main & remote Play button work. USB works.

919c20669b More M3 work: Rockbox logo, keymap, sim definitions, sim bitmap. Simulator builds and works now, but for some reason it tries to build plugins even though they're deactivated through configure... The keymap probably needs further refinement.

ef62d6891a Split up app.lds to the respective target directories. The portalplayer devices replicate app.lds since their target tree doesn't follow a syntax typical to the newer arm targets - the portalplayers could be cleaned up further. boot.lds and plugin.lds still need to be cleaned up.

6f05899f42 don't do early usb detection on device with software stack. This doesn't work properly when booting while the device is plugged in to a power-only USB cable, and on sansa the microSD slot doesn't work here.

ae00bd69d6 AAC decoder: Remove suspicious use of the REAL_CONST macro. I don't know what triggers the execution of this code, but this change stops some floating point math code from being linked. It looks like the right thing to do...
