3eb76d053d talk.c helper functions to voice a filename, in a more generic way 
than from tree.c
Voice a file or dir's thumbnail from path components,
or spell last path component. Ability to prefix the thumbnail or
spelling with some talk ids.

This is the talk_file patch from FS#6323, just refactored a bit.

c893affeef Accept FS#8918: Voice multiple thumbnails and talk race fixes. 
-Allows loading multiple thumbnails back-to-back in the one thumbnail buffer.
-Mutex to prevent race conditions with talk queue indices and
thumbnail buffer state.
-Synchronous shutup.
-Shutup is a noop if no voice is queued.
-mp3_play_stop() does nothing until the audio thread is ready.

ae05501716 Introduce a new WPS parsing error case: limits exceeded. It includes the cases when there are too many tokens, lines, sublines, viewports, strings, characters or conditional levels. This prevents the parser from failing silently or going on, as it used to do in those cases. Thanks to fml (Alexander Levin) for mentioning this issue. 
I also changed the error types from #defines to an enum, for cleanliness.

311d048f6f fix FS#9144 hopefully for good... only update the screen if the time line is selected, or if talking menus are disabled, only update if the time line is actually on the screen. Also only update every 5s so scrolling lines still scroll. (turns out scroll_all was broken! fixed now)

f3d9b1791b Bring libmpeg2 portions that we use up to date with the latest libmpeg2 CVS. Fix up some file headers and add a revision history to the libmpeg2 files detailing to which CVS file revisions things were synced. This makes it easier to start in the right place by hand in the future. Hopefully no mistakes and everything works. :-)

f69982bb0b Fix FS#8977. The issue was caused by multiple successive calls to audio_load_track() happening before the corresponding calls to audio_finish_load_track(), resulting in disappearing tracks. I added the track_load_started boolean flag as a means to prevent audio_load_track() from doing anything if a call to audio_finish_load_track is pending.

0441afecd7 Fix FS#9110 and its maybe-dupes. 
The issue happened when the value of 'filling' was STATE_FINISHED: the low_buffer_callback wouldn't do anything even when there would still be data remaining to be buffered, leading to a shortage of audio data. Only making the callback act even when filling is STATE_FINISHED (the simple fix) isn't right because of cases when the last track in the playlist is fully buffered. Therefore I added a new state to distinguish between when the last track is fully buffered (STATE_FINISHED) and when it isn't (STATE_END_OF_PLAYLIST).

05cb42164b Fix FS #9128: invalidate the peakmeter scales when switching between playback and recording. This causes them to be recalculated so they show up correctly when playback and recording use different viewport sizes.

205f3df781 Remove a viewport ambiguity by changing the screens width/heigth members into lcdwidth/lcdheight. Normal usercode should always use getwidth()/getheigth() as that returns the viewport width/height. Fixes issues that would have appeared in many places when introducing viewports with sizes != lcd sizes.

a06f651c3e Put the WMA windowing and output buffer into IRAM on targets with > 96KB of it. Improves 192k WMA decoding speed by about 2MHz on PP5024, and maybe saves some more when applying DSP.

90b616913b Peakmeters: use screens[].getwidth() and not screens[].width as the latter one returns the LCD width (which really shouldn't be there) - the former returns the width of the viewport. Do some code police as well.

22e7bf32b8 My Devcon 2008 contribution: port for Philips GoGear HDD1630 (PP5022-based). Current status is that the bootloader works to load Rockbox, but dual boot does not work: it freezes after decrypting the OF. When Rockbox boots, it freezes somewhere between showing the logo and the main menu. And there's no driver for the touchpad. So lots of work left.

ff9f3f8c04 Revert r14786 which resulted in a substantial reduction in accuracy to save a 7.6KB of RAM. Accuracy should be greatly improved now, and if we want to make that trade off again, I think of better ways to do it.

bdbdb97f19 FS#9051 - remove LCD margins... use viewports if you need them... 
NOTE to WPS people....
%m has been removed, but (i think) because of the other %m tags it wont fail if you try loading a wps with %m|..|, it will just be ignored.
Also note that if the statusbar is enabled the default viewport is 8 pixels shorter than when its not, i.e (0,0) is really (0,8) if the statusbar is shown... I dont think this will be a major issue because almost no WPS show the bar and use bitmaps... text only WPS shouldnt be affected.

** BREAKS CURRENT WPS's  **
* %P has been removed, merged with the new %pb
* %pb is now %pb or %pb|bitmap|x|y|width|height| (any of those params can be - to use sane defaults... check wiki/task for more explaination)

* New %Vl and %Vd tags which are used to setup and display conditionaly displayed viewports (%Vl|<id>|<usual %V params>| to set up, then %Vd<id> to enable the viewport
* bumps the max allowed viewport count to 24
* you can setup 3 different progressbars in a WPS... max of one per viewport though

I'll commit changes to the cabbie wps soon which shows how to use %Vl/%Vd properly...

c0951d95b3 Resort operands in mul/smull/mla/smlal to use D[] as second multiplication operand. Additionally do not pre-scale D[] for the 64 Bit precision synthesizer. Through this the 64 Bit multiplication is speed up by 1.5MHz without loss of precision.

34d4165f7b New md5sum plugin. Open a file, a directory or just launch it from the plugin menu to create an md5sum of the file, the directory's contents or the whole filesystem. If the file's extension is .md5 or .md5sum, it will check the md5 sums in the file instead. If the file's extension is .md5list it will compute md5 sums for all the files listed.

f002b7d055 make %V a little simpler. only the x and y values have to be specified now (i.e %V|0|0|||||| ) 
default values are as follows:
width - lcd width - the x value
height - lcd height - y value
font - user font
fg colour - the themes fg colour on 16bit targets, black on greyscale targets
bg colour - the themes bg colour on 16bit targets, white on greyscale targets

02aadebd5f Make ZXBox work on the m:robe 100, and fix the linker script and loader to make it work again on archos. Put Menu on F1 for recorders in order to avoid accidental poweroff on v1. ZXBox on archos is very slow, but that's not different from rockboy which is also included for recorders. (Patch by Marianne Arnold and me).

c541e04632 Gigabeat F/X: 
Allow chaning of touchpad sensitivity in the System settings menu. Some
units are dodgey at "Normal" senitivity and some at "High". "High" can make
some units difficult to navigate and may even require a settings reset so try
it and don't use "High" again if it doesn't work out :-). Defaults to "Normal"
 which behaves like older builds.

fd3b46c22c draw the buttonbar in its own viewport. It always uses the sysfont and is drawn on the bottom.

there is a known issue that on this screen the stop icon wont update, I dont know why and noone else wants to look at it, so hopefully this will force another set of eyes on it.. this is only a graphical issue... recordings still work fine

adf2e4c9a0 Targets with HAVE_LCD_ENABLE: Provide a means to receive notifications when the lcd is enabled and the image is refreshed so overlayed drawing can also be refreshed. Chiefly mpegplayer needs this so it can redraw the YUV data after the backlight is turned on while paused or when using 'Set Start Time'.

43d02f66a0 Fix rockblox on all 160x128x2 and 160x128x16 targets. They used the mono bitmap intended for m:robe100 as a native one, making the background looking odd and crashing the sim. Bitmaps for monochrome targets used like native bitmaps shouldn't reside in bitmaps/mono, as that's asking for confusion.

d892214d88 Gigabeat S: Add charge current and battery temp readout in power management and display in the battery screen. Thermistor data was obtained experimentally from one pulled off a dead board and appears basically correct when read back on a working device (which requires letting it settle to ambient temperature - a long wait so not easy to do). Sending me more thermistors would help improve accuracy *fingers crossed that it's close enough*. :-) This commit does NOT add charging but is a step towards implementing it.

6a74a5dd3b Commit FS#9015. Rework of musepack buffered seek. Now a static seek buffer of 8192 entries is used. The seeking precision is adapted to the length of the file (e.g. 26ms for files <=3.5min and 0.4s for files ~60min).

b4275d4941 Philips GoGear SA9200 port. Working bootloader and normal builds, including sound. No touchpad now, buttons limited to using vol+/vol-/power for up/down/select. Rockbox USB is enabled since the OF is MTP only...read the warnings on the PortalPlayerUsb wiki page.

1d28fe7d79 Musepack seek hotfix. Do not dynamically allocate seek buffer but use a buffer of constant size (~28.5min). Files larger than this will still not seek properly. Some additional rework has to be done for the seek buffer.

4ee3fed014 Sokoban: enable the plugin for the c200. Invent a new, a bit more rockboxish colour scheme since the old one didn't work in the small size that was needed for the c200's screen. Also use these colours in existing bmps and add some in-between sizes (e.g. for the Nano and Gigabeat) to use the screen size as best as possible. Rename the existing colour bmps consistently. Remove the drawing code for monochrome screens and let them use the bitmap build system too. This also allows further simplifying the code and let the plugin retrieve the tilesize from the bitmap.

5b861933fd FS#8637 - new UI for disktidy. 
Usage changes:
- disktidy.config is loaded with a list of file/directory names (included in the .zip)
- disktidy_custom.config is then loaded which is the same list but marks the files/dirs to be deleted. Also used to add custom files
- the default config is to not remove any files so the first time you run it you need to go into the "files to clean" option and select the files to remove. they will be then saved for next time.

The "Files To Clean" screen:
use the usual select option to toggle an item (if it has the cursor icon it will be removed)
selecting < ALL > will remove all, < NONE > will deselect all.
selecting a < > group will toggle all items in that group

to exit that screen use the standard cancel action (usually left arrow)

Directories are marked with a trailing / and * can be used at the end of the name (e.g .Trash-*/)
