b05eec8b1e Big Code Police raid. Pretty pretty please, we do no macrofy simple 
assignments and things just to make them appear as function calls. That makes
code harder to follow. Did some gcc4 warning fixes as well.

5009c9c1b8 Split the HAVE_RTC define into HAVE_RTC, HAVE_RTC_RAM and CONFIG_RTC - in preparation for targets (H300, iPod) which have a clock (HAVE_RTC) but no general purpose RAM available for settings data (HAVE_RTC_RAM). CONFIG_RTC is used to specify the low-level driver required.

15ca09106d Set appropriate codec type for .m4a files (ALAC or AAC) inside get_metadata(). probe_file_format() is no longer an exported function. Make get_metadata() return false if it can not read the metadata - on the assumption that the codec will also fail.

6a4bfb5dcf iRiver: Fixed several problems with playback on track skipping & loading: 
* Correctly detecting codec type from metadata.
* Skipping incorrect tracks correctly if there are more than one unloadable track.
* Fixed internal ram skipping when codec switching is required.
* Fixed hang if no files in playlist is playable.

b51f7dfc9b Backlight handling: * Added 'Caption Backlight' and 'Backlight On When Charging' for the iriver remote LCD. * Enabled the backlight code for the simulator, and prepared backlight simulation. It's only a stub atm, writing messages to the console window. * Added tick task handling to the simulators for this to work. * Code cleanup in backlight.c, less dead code.

bccfae0a58 Fixed crash with early USB. The USB screen already uses some of the new GUI code, so we have to init before. Fixed problem with gui_syncstatusbar_init() drawing the status bar(s) right away.

d1704f6894 Fixed playlist skipping of incorrect files and playback engine not to

b85cdbb259 Multi-screen API: Fixed macro checks for screen type/ depth, some cleanup. The multi-screen code doesn't handle certain combinations (which aren't found in current targets). A combination of one charcell and one bitmap lcd will make it crash, and a combination of two bitmap LCDs with a depth > 1 but different pixel formats will show wrong colours/ shades on the remote.

32a43e2ee6 When fixing things is it better to do it in a way that causes them to actually work. Some more bugs in wpsbuild.pl squashed. Also, themes moved to the main menu. Resetting to default themes now works properly.

735f453730 Added dircache support to playlist. Now playlist filename pointers are 
automatically accuired from dircache. WPS UI response with dircache
enabled should be instant.

a7db52ca89 Adds support for reverting to the Rockbox default WPS. Note that the rockbox_default.wps is a placeholder file and is never actually loaded - selecting it just causes Rockbox to clear its memory of any installed custom WPS. This means that it works cross platform. Also, small fix to boxes.wps (curse vi) and wpsbuild.pl - support for pure text WPS files.

df37db99ce Added Coldfire ASM optimised crossfeed function. Have not measured speed improvement, but it is faster. Also moved activation check for crossfeed out of function to avoid a function call if it's not activated.
