4ed387d603 Fix reds and yellows (hopefully). Some targets apparently didn't properly #ifdef lcd_enable and lcd_sleep code out, so that it got partly active in the bootloader; rename the ui simulator stub fixes most reds; for the clip: move the hook code into lcd-1bit-vert.c which should fix the bootloader red.

b7739fbf1c Rework lcd_enabled and lcd_set/call_enable hook
a) lcd_enabled() is now lcd_active(), and is available for HAVE_LCD_SLEEP only targets (e.g. ipod video) too. It was depandent on HAVE_LCD_ENALE only before
b) rename the hook accordingly, and implement the hook for other other targets too (e.g. the clip [the only mono target with lcd_enable/lcd_sleep yet, so the code is still in the lcd driver], ipod, fuze, c200)

bc8cab4c24 Commit the common portion of FS#9708: ATA (IDE) DMA by Boris Gjenero with a couple cosmetic tweaks and without the inclusion of 'FS#9721: No error check after writes in ata.c'changes (which can be done separately). No code is changed for targets without HAVE_ATA_DMA defined other than to not display DMA modes in the View Disk Info debug screen if not using DMA (Gigabeat F/X/S were). No target uses the code yet but Gigabeat S use will follow shortly.

9f6e117e82 TCC NAND: The BLOCKS_PER_SEGMENT define was actually the number of planes mentioned in the Samsung NAND datasheet. Add this to the nand_id struct, so that it can be runtime detected (required for some D2s to boot). Use the struct directly instead of making a local copy, and format the nand_info table to 80 columns.

fd14cac7c2 Split HAVE_SCROLLWHEEL into HAVE_SCROLLWHEEL and HAVE_WHEEL_ACCELERATION, where the latter now activates the wheel acceleration code.
HAVE_SCROLLWHEEL plainly indicates the existence of a scrollwheel, thus all ipods define it now (in addition to the ones and some
sansas which did before). Same applies to the manual.

da76a34694 Use bus reset detection for all ARC OTG devices. Remove conflict from LV24020LP driver with some GPIO-by-number macros for PP502x. Start monitoring for USB stack once all core threads and queues are created otherwise queues will likely be registered after USB acks. Putting PP502x system_reboot in IRAM (unmapped, uncached) memory seems to help it work more consistently. Hopefully I got all the PP USB connect handlers in the right spot in irq_handler. If device seems unresponsive to cable, check there first.

6da8b4eb49 USB retweaking: Take out the USB_REQUEST/RELEASE_DISK scheme and simply ask the USB core whether or not any drivers require exclusive access at the moment of connect. Doing anthing else just produces nasty effects on Windows because it expects some communication just for enabling the PHY and not allowing it to mount volumes if a thread doesn't ack causes annoying error message boxes. Make behavior of each USB type identical from the system perspective. Some miscellaneous changes (simplify, ata->storage naming, define only used USB_* enums values were possible).

e385ee18ce Decouple the statusbar drawing from the rest of the screen drawing. it is not drawn roughly 4x per second automatically.
viewport_Set_defaults() will setup the given viewport with the correct "full screen" dimensions (so start at 0,0 if statusbars are disabled or 0,8 if they are enabled.)
All screens should keep the statusbar enabled, but if you really want to ignore the user setting you can disbaled it with viewportmanager_set_statusbar(false).

This commit also includes some menu/list viewport cleanups from kugel in FS#9603

0ad97d13fc Reclaim a bit of binsize on hdd based archoses by making the bit test unsigned. On SH1, gcc optimizes this by using a right shift, and a signed '1' made it use an arithmetic right-shift-by-n, which is a libgcc function on SH1. This was the only place in the core using it. No effect on other architectures.
