Note: I left behind lcd_bitmap in features.txt, because removing it
would require considerable work in the manual and the translations.

'swcodec' is now always set (and recording_swcodec for recording-capable
units) in feature.txt so the manual and language strings don't need to
all be fixed up.

* Remove unused bits like the radio event and simplify basic
radio interface. It can be more self-contained with rds.h only
required by radio and tuner code.
* Add post-processing to text a-la Silicon Labs AN243. The chip's
error correction can only do so much; additional checks are highly
recommended. Simply testing for two identical messages in a row
is extremely effective and I've never seen corrupted text since
doing that, even with mediocre reception.
Groups segments must arrive in order, not randomly; logic change
only accepts them in order, starting at 0.
Time readout was made a bit better but really we'd need to use
verbose mode and ensure that no errors were seen during receiving
of time and more checks would be need to have a stable PI. The
text is the important bit anyway.
* Time out of stale text.
* Text is no longer updated until a complete group has been
received, as is specified in the standard. Perhaps go back to
scrolling text lines in the radio screen?
* Add proper character conversion to UTF-8. Only the default G0
table for the moment. The other two could be added in.
* Add variants "RDS_CFG_PROCESS" and "RDS_CFG_PUSH" to allow
the option for processed RDS data to be pushed to the driver and
still do proper post-processing (only text conversion for now for
the latter).

Except for unfinished or experimental ports, it isthe case that
USE_ROCKBOX_USB and HAVE_USBSTACK are both defined or both undefined.
Furthermore, it is a leftover of some early developments on the USB stack and
doesn't make sense anymore.

The build of bootloader with HAVE_ATA_DMA fails because of missing
commit_discard_dcache(). This seems to be bigger problem as
bootloader builds don't call cache_init() also which seems wrong.
but I know too little about the PP platform to judge.
For now use ATA DMA only in regular builds.

PP502x ATA DMA was disabled in 55fab77 because it caused various
instability on all targets using it. This instability is fixed in
583c948 via FS#12391. Here, ATA DMA is enabled for all PP502x targets
except nano1g and hdd6330. For nano1g, there may be other causes of
instability and more testing is needed. ATA DMA does not work on hdd6330.

* Introduce CONFIG_BATTERY_MEASURE define, to allow targets (application)
to break powermgmt.c's assumption about the ability to read battery voltage.
There's now additionally percentage (android) and remaining time measure
(maemo). No measure at all also works (sdl app). If voltage can't be measured,
then battery_level() is king and it'll be used for power_history and runtime
estimation.
* Implement target's API in the simulator, i.e. _battery_voltage(), so it
doesn't need to implement it's own powermgmt.c and other stubs. Now
the sim behaves much more like a native target, although it still
changes the simulated battery voltage quickly,
* Other changes include include renaming battery_adc_voltage() to
_battery_voltage(), for consistency with the new target functions and
making some of the apps code aware that voltage and runtime estimation
is not always available.

This adds proper full speed charging support for iPod 4G, Color, Mini 1G, Mini 2G, Nano 1G, and Video. Nano 2G already has support, so now all ipods charge (except 1G-3G whose hardware doesn't support USB charging).
USB charging defaults to on, but will only charge at full speed from a USB host. To charge from an AC charger, you need to set the USB charging mode to "force". It may be possible to detect AC chargers in a future version, at least on some models.

DMA is only used for reading because writing seems to be slower with DMA.
Only requests which are cacheline aligned (16 bytes) will use DMA, so many
requests will still use PIO at this point; a later change will align more
reads.
