05e180a130 Do the ridx > widx check where it should be done. A small rebuffering request must completely succeed before buffer can later shrink a handle or else it must reset the handle.

64647f3403 buffering: Unusual cases when a handle ridx is briefly seeked ahead of widx need to be handled properly. In the best case, buffer useful would be wrong and in the worst, a packet audio move_handle delta would be quite incorrect, causing the handle to be moved too far.

b3bfc09852 r29348 changes can cause certain codecs to jump to code on early track change that assumes initializations have been done. Make sure that track change cleanups are only called if the state is sane to do so. Stops my vorbis data abort issue. Correctness for speex is a guess based on the library calls' source. It appears only speex/vorbis should have been bothered by said revision.

485ff79584 Add an ability to set a setting to a specific value with a touchscreen action. 
example: %T(0,0,20,12, setting_set, repeat, off)
That will set the repeat mode to "off" when it is pressed.
"setting_set" is the action name
"repeat" is the name of the setting in the config files
"off" is the value to set it to (same values as the legal values in the config files)

Not all settings are supported, outright unsupported settings will fail to parse. Some settings might not work too well if they don't apply instantly (Any that work well int he quickscreen should work well here)

7df5ecc783 autoresume: Optimize playlist resume (manual, bookmark, or after power-on) 
The resume position coming from these sources takes precedence over
autoresume.  If we have such a resume offset, we don't have to wait
for the database to produce a resume offset before we can start the
codec.

156b0bc614 Add the option of linking the %Tl (last touch) tag to a specific touchregion. Both tags now accept an optional label param as the first param.

1a23e0ca19 Fix database import and export

ade4c1637f Fix corrupted metadata on manual track change on hwcodec.

376c9f3ad0 FS#11966 - use separate modelnames and config files for RaaA. This adds an APPLICATION define that can be used in Makefiles, and target-name defines (-DSDLAPP, -DANDROID, -DNOKIAN8XX and -DNOKIAN900) for use elsewhere. LCD size is now hard-coded for the Nokia builds in their config files. A new --app parameter is passed to buildzip.pl to explicitly state that this is an application build - it was previously derived from the model name.

e3a3e2c9c2 RaaA: Enable plugins for application builds 
Use own plugins/SOURCES and plugins/SUBDIRS file to avoid
ifdef hell for disabled plugins without a keymap.

This finally brings the credits screen to RaaA.

6510973223 Give playback engine better control over the codec. Codec simply follows commands and doesn't concern itself with audio state. Get track change notification in on the actual last buffer insert of the track because now audio simply waits for a track change notify from PCM on the last track and it must be sent reliably. This is still at an intermediate stage but works. Codecs and plugins become incompatible.

* Re-create RockboxFramebuffer instance with every time there's a new Activity.
* Also, allow Rockbox to be started via multimedia buttons, immediately starting playback if wanted.

We don't need to keep the fb instance around when it backround, and it makes us less depending on it and the activity (less race conditions). And this is how you usually do it in Android apps.

85e40257dc Enforce that codecs wait for their metadata in a proper-ish and consistent manner. Sort of a halfway patch; best would be to give them an internal copy of the current track information which lasts unaltered by playback until a track switch or unload.

03862292a2 Make format_time properly format negative times because sometimes they are shown if track length estimates are off from seeking. Example: -0:15 instead of 0:-15. -1000ms < t < 0 is shown as -0:00.

144df92bfb Android: Rewrite lcd subsystem to use the SurfaceView API. 
That enables drawing from outside the apps UI thread, i.e. from within the Rockbox native thread, without needing synchronization means, and adds determinism as to when the draw happens.
It simplifies the drawing routines and adds a convinient way of detecting whether drawing should happen or not (surfaceCreated/Destroyed).
It also restores max. fps on my phone which went down drastically with the gingerbread(CM7) update.

81614c428c RaaA: Fix last.FM scrobbler log file location 
The .scrobbler.log or .scrobbler-timeless.log file
resides in the USB mass storage area. The exact location
differs for every RaaA platform.

The SDL platform sticks it in ROCKBOX_DIR for now.

2f3ab5fa22 Correct the metadata's VBR flag for MP4 files. ALAC is native VBR, AAC very unlikely is CBR. The VBR flag is used by several WPS.

b15aa47c56 All kernel objects in code shared amongs targets (core, plugins, codecs) should be declared SHAREDBSS_ATTR as any core could potentially touch them even though they seem only to involve threads on one core. The exception is target code for particular CPUs where proper allocation is fixed. playlist.c was a little odd too-- use one mutex for the current playlist and a separate one for created playlists (still pondering the necessity of more than one).

0fde635fb0 Leave a gap between all handles because ringbuf_add_cross interprets equal pointers as empty, corruption guard check could fail to detect overlap if buffering ran right up to the next handle and it gets asked to buffer again before freeing the following handles (adds a byte on average). Storage alignment on handle reset must at times avoid alignment increments if after a stopped rebuffer, the handle was shrunk too close to the next one or the reading position in a prior rebuffer.

c0b0cd5905 Do not fiddle with audiobuf in talk_init() when no voice file is present. Avoids stopping of audio playback when changing languages without using voice files. Closes FS#10479.

b474d0d98f Change add_handle to never have side effects on the buffer if it fails. It actually seems ok and I'm not sure if's responsible for anything, but it's more sane and keeps buffer_handle from regressing buf_widx later if buffering cur_handle.
