ea255fbc3a Prevent initial spinup when starting first file when in a stopped state on non-RTC targets. Fix some states that are dangerous on SWCODEC and could result in data loss. Had to make plugin API incopatible since specified numbered filename creation is enabled now on all non-RTC targets with recording; increase version and sort the items that looked like they had a place to go.

2d48d0ffa6 Straighten out some audio path APIs and misc. audio stuff. Having recording is not a prerequisite to having input/output source selection which is probably most useful when adding a audio input features like FM to a new port without forcing recording to be implemented first.

21a4a87ca2 Accept FS#7178 - Sansa e200 FM tuner support by Ivan Zupan. Do the needed integration work into recording and the AS3514 audio driver. Do a little AS3514 fiq_record tweak to have it all work nicely from the start.

8f659ae8d3 Use bitmasks to define which inputs are available. Makes it easier to remove old assumptions of which are available. Inspired by e200 being unique in having FM Radio and Mic but no Line. Doesn't remove the assumption that Mic is available or that one of Mic and/or Line is available just to avoid excessive #ifdef'ing until needed.

7fdfa56454 Add backdrop support for LCD remotes with depth > 1-bit. Only WPS backdrops, but the groundwork is laid for main backdrops too (all that's really needed are menus to set/clear them).

2a2b8d8a82 Make bitmaps use the right format in a RWPS and prevent a backdrop tag in a RWPS from clearing the main display's backdrop. This also allows future backdrop support for LCD remotes by making the parsing code aware of whether the display for a WPS is a remote or not.

ce05addf52 Revert recording/repeat timer for now. It is useful as a feature, but didn't receive enough testing on multiple targets, and fixing it is non-trivial. Later reversal would be complicated because of .lng spreading. * The patch should probably redone in a different way, as it's huge for what it does... * Issues: (1) The repeat timer setting has NULL pointer hits. (2) The multi-int setting screen breaks with proportional fonts, and with somewhat larger fonts. (3) On some targets, all values except the leftmost one are unreachable. * Hint: The timer itself would be much simpler if it'd just store & compare ticks (497 days before it wraps).

e54d8e1388 Remove the exit_value variable.. set the MENU_FUNC_CHECK_RETVAL fla and 
return 1 if you want your funciton to quit the menus.

a2ee6a6681 FM Radio mishmash: Make a quieter screen for the SWCODEC targets esp. for the benefit of x5; I wasn't sure if it was good to alter timeouts for HW codec. Simplify things and prepare for eventual scanning and tuning changes (which should help quiet x5 down even more). Make things behave themselves better in general. Enable SWCODEC FM Recording menu and screen for sim as a bonus.

11e45a316f Make keyboard character selection independent on main and remote LCDs. Insert position is still synchronized between displays however (made sense to me to keep that). Cleanup code to make it more readable (mostly for my benefit in working on it :). Hopefully Hangul will stay working too. Clean up some drawing (keep pages from invading text line) and use bitmap arrows for long text when font size allows.

9701954654 iRiver: Enable line input mode on keyboard. The cursor key combos can still be used when in picker mode. Much easier for moving the cursor around by many characters.

02a871780f Remove the need to double up the MENU macros in manu.h. 
Icons are now used by their id which must be part of the icons_6x8 enum, 
or Icon_NOICON for none
