3be1ca0281 MIDI: Improve seeking (especially near the end of the file) by disabling playback during the seek. Next 
step is to prevent delta value calculation during seeking, and just recompute the current deltas once 
seeking is over.

69f88a5c35 Info screen: charging and battery. 
For CHARGING_SIMPLE: if the charger is inserted, then indicate that the
battery is charging, and do not show the battery level (which should be
bogus anyway). This is the only place the charger status is reported for
blind users.

Allow reporting charge_state for CHARGING_MONITOR: the header file says
it could be CHARGING or TRICKLE. Hope this is right. Interestingly,
that's how the #ifdefs were for the voice part.

Have the voice match the displayed info.  In particular do not report
battery level when in a charging state.
Use the new talk time unit for the battery remaining duration.
If battery_level() is 0 and no info is available, then say "blank"
instead of nothing.
LANG_BATTERY_CHARGE: more verbose voice entry.

cd963d84ca MIDI: Allow seeking forward and backward using the left/right keys. Currently seeks in 5 second 
increments, but this can be set to any amount. Also implemented a counter for playing time, which can 
pretty easily be used to determine the length of the file, in seconds, before playing it. The time 
isn't displayed anywhere right now, but all this can be useful if this thing is turned into a codec, or 
at least gets a nice UI.

f6b404bd73 Info screen fixups: 
* Shortened the voice entry for external disk names.
* Deprecated LANG_CURRENT_TIME which is not used anywhere.
* Before there were CRLFs, then there were blank lines, cleaned that up.
* Removed extra format specifier and args in the snprintf for MMC NOT_PRESENT.
* Made the voice info about disks match more closely what is displayed:
  basically, speak disk size for multi-volume case as well.
* Not too sure about the reordering, so I did NOT touch that.

b838a62adf Make bufread and bufgetdata blocking. They now return when enough data is available or when EOF is reached. This improves the API and removes the need for several duplicate waiting loops. 
Also fix a few logfqueue messages.

dcca586a9b Improve upon my hackity hack from before by separating audio into two types: that which may be large and can be streamed and that which is small and cannot be streamed. While modifying types, allow codecs to split across the buffer wrap and dig out/move around the code that reads a codec off of the buffer to facilitate that simple sounding change.

ff9cdb464a Temporary work around for the situation where a single codec request is for more data than a single file_chunk and that file gets stuck. This should be fixed differently as it could lead to unresponsive behavior from the buffering thread for the duration of a file load.

09bce70f17 Slight rework of the buffering logic: 
* Don't rely only on ata_disk_is_active, and also do buffer filling after buffer handle requests. Should fix FS#8049.
* Shrink the handles at the last possible moment. This allows more seeking without rebuffering for long tracks and minimises buffer waste.

4ff2f9f372 can_add_handle() can be removed, but its logic must remain: before adding a handle, we need to make sure the there'll be space left for the curent one to finish buffering. This should fix the audio dropout problems people were experiencing.

9626948642 Fix FS #8019, caused by memcpy() being called before "rb = api;". Be cautious of this one, it'll certainly bite us again. Gut out all the silly file selection stuff, this plugin is already a viewer. Note that mp3_encoder still is buggy and needs more work (or we need a transcoder plugin...).

483dca99c4 Remove can_add_handle, its safety and benefit are both questionable. Make shrink_buffer a function to reduce code duplication. Change move_handle semantics so that the caller never loses track of the current position of h, even if the move fails.

41add08c5e Prevent the audio queue from getting flooded with fill buffer messages. 
The low buffer callback is registred by  instead of the function it calls to prevent a loop.
audio_check_new_track() also makes more sense because that's where tracks are made useless by a skip.

3c1d2069dd Make voice and codec queues private so they don't receive system messages. The audio thread controls them just fine. Important so codec stack-stealing plugins don't crash when system events are broadcast. Simpler too.

d6af287397 Implement as genuine a set_irq_level function for the sim as possible. The yield added earlier is still nescessary since other threads won't run anyway while viewing the database screen on either sim or target.

8431c08b7d QMF filter memory doesn't need to be 32 bits, so convert it to 16 bits. Alter assembler code to reflect this. Also do a small optimization in the reverse block copy of the qmf_synth() Coldfire assembler.

3e3c43c747 Finally commit Metadata on Buffer! 
buffering.c and buffering.h implement the new buffering API. playback.c is translated to that API. For more information about the whole concept, see http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/MetadataOnBuffer.
There should be no major visible changes, but most existing bugs remain (though fixing them should be easier now that playback.c is a bit less complex) and there probably will be new ones. Please report any problem!
Next step is to adapt cuesheet support, which is partly disabled here, and of course fix as much bugs as possible.

35f23267bf Further optimised the filter vector math assembly for coldfire, and added assembly filter vector math for ARM. Both make use of the fact that the first argument of the vector functions is longword aligned. * The ARM version is tailored for ARM7TDMI, and would slow down arm9 or higher. Introduced a new CPU_ macro for ARM7TDMI. Speedup for coldfire: -c3000 104%->109%, -c4000 43%->46%, -c5000 1.7%->2.0%. Speedup for PP502x: -c2000 66%->75%, -c3000 37%->48%, -c4000 11%->18%, -c5000 2.5%->3.7%

fb70952228 logf changes: 
* Disable logf by default and allow per-file enabling with "#define LOGF_ENABLE". To enable globally add that define in the config.h file.
* Transform logf calls into DEBUGF calls when ROCKBOX_HAS_LOGF isn't defined, so that they get printed to the console in the sim.

86a999c478 Change decoder struct dynamic array members to static arrays sized based on current maximums. Move decoder state structs into IRAM for big speedups This means only one decoder can be instantiated at a time, but that should not be a problem. Tweak Makefile to use -O2 for Coldfire. Update SVN revision info to sync-time revision.
