bf397b5635 Remove an unneeded WPS update signal. Make the codec thread more polite about requesting buffering. Prevent more Codec failure pops when the codec was _asked_ to stop.

7c986a91a6 Work around the bug with buffer wrapping. Serious performance penalty, and a lot of buffering is discarded to achieve this, but it doesn't crash while I find the real cause

fbe74d1df6 Fix one cause of buffer-offness, but I'm pretty sure this is not the cause of problems that people are having as the debug code I put in detects and corrects it. Make taginfo instead of stupid filename appear on manual track skip, off buffer (stupid bug).

1d41f77b37 Boost during the track transition, trust me, it makes sense. Better logging of buffer-not-synched issues. Revert a previous change to make a function take a parameter intead of using cur_ti. Add some todos.

0744e760cb Ensure that the buffer doesn't get out of sync on rebuffer track changes. Remove the concept of pcmuf_boost_mode as it doesn't seem necessary, and adds an unnecessary way for the CPU to stay boosted.

c95044a9c1 Track skipping rework more. This seems to handle rapid skipping very gracefully without compromising buffer safety. There may still be a potentially broken code path if the user does a very rapid skip, stop sequence, and I will be sure to investigate this. Due to Slasheri's concern, reimplement rapid GUI update for track skipping in a safe way.

a0a01b38e2 Readjusted quickscreen code so that it now actually scales to larger LCDs. Get rid of 'left_right_text' argument - this also means that 'scroll bar' and 'status bar' look better in some languages.

62ccbbb418 Rework track skipping. Full playback stop is no longer involved in track skipping. Further simplification of the play related functions can be achieved with this in place, but that's for later. Known skip related bug, high pitched noise sometimes, otherwise stuff is better

2f943b054c Enabled the quickscreen for iAudio X5. Globally, REC enters the menu and holding REC enters the quickscreen. Also moved the quickscreen #define to model config files, which simplifies the checking for it and makes checking more consistent. Cleaned up keymappings in quickscreen.h.

92ff0e292d Back out the 'do not stop playback until stop button has been released' change, because of interaction issues with exiting menus using the same button, causing the wps to exit. (Also, the '_PRE' suffix is for 'preceeding' events (e.g., button presses), not button releases.)

857db456af Fix seeking on swcodec, but probably break some cases of skipping. Another important rework here, buffer management is serialized along with most other operations on the audio thread. This has some minor performance issues on ipod that can lead to audio skips during buffer fill as well.

15b2eefd6b Updated quickscreens, now they look better than before while still retaining the ability to scroll - this is about as good as it gets until viewports are implemented. Also enabled the quickscreen for iPods.

51db2d3f2c Update adds prboom's high resolution support, also makes the scaling for platforms w/ resolution less then 320x200 much nicer. IDoom's lookup table code has been removed. Also fixed a pallete bug. Some graphic errors are present in menu and status bar. Also updates some headers and output formatting.

a698c3e43e Change (and hopefully simplify) the iPod button mappings and correct some comments. iPod mappings are now: Clickwheel for cursor movement, next/prev to increment/decrement number under cursor, MENU to bring up the menu, and PLAY to add a number to the scratchpad.

f53f64a615 button.h cleanup, with the future "button action" thing in mind: 
1) Main unit's button defines are from the LSB to the MSB (currently bits 0-9, 0x00000200), remote ones are from the 20th bit (0x00100000) downards to 10th(0x00000400);
2) Removed the BUTTON_REMOTE modifier, replaced with a bitmask of all of the remote buttons (where applicable, otherwise with 0), added a complementary BUTTON_MAIN bitmask;
3) Moved button modifiers:
  - BUTTON_REPEAT: to bit 26 (0x04000000)
  - BUTTON_REL: to bit 25 (0x02000000)
There are at least 4 bits free on all targets now: 21-24.
If we really need more free bits, it's possible to SHR remote buttons 1 bit more (freeing bit 20 too), and to change the SYS_EVENT bit with a bitmask (+2 bits).
4) Bumped up the min. plugin ver. (and sorted the plugin api struct), because the binary plugins with key input won't understand the new values

3c7278f405 Reworked backlight fading by GPIO based PWM to work for other targets 
than H1x0. iPod Nano and 5G backlight fading is enabled. To try for your
device, just define HAVE_BACKLIGHT_PWM_FADING in the relevant

ea4ccb5aba Samples should always be 32 bit on all platforms, so change most 
occurences of long to int32_t to enable working sounds also on 64 bit
sims. Note that some codecs (MP3 and Wavpack) still have other 64
bit related problems.
